Verdict

RADICAL ARCHIE rallied when runner-up to stablemate The Gipper over 2m at Ffos Las on Monday. The return to a longer trip is in his favour and, if that run hasn’t taken too much out of him, Evan Williams’ charge looks the one to beat. Trans Express is very consistent and goes particularly well around here so looks a danger arriving off the back of a victory at Leicester earlier this month. Shalakar ran well on his handicap debut and reappearance and will be helped by Hugh Nugent’s 7lb claim while Vaziani is still unexposed. It’s more difficult to make a case for Diamond Fort or the returning Doubly Clever.
