Verdict

Disappointingly just the two runners stand their ground for this handicap chase and the vote has to go to Tino, who is taken to give weight and a beating to Blazing Batman. The selection showed respectable form on his first start back from a summer break when finding just the progressive Flora Muck too good at Uttoxeter. Off the same mark and, with his jockey able to claim a valuable 5lbs today, Jeff King's gelding is the obvious choice. Blazing Batman has slipped to an attractive mark and cannot be dismissed lightly having shown signs of a return to form at Market Rasen earlier this month but Tino has to be the selection.
