In depth

Verdict

Mister Gloss and Richard's Sundance are the two with obvious claims whilst Chase The Dawn made a really pleasing return to action in a bumper but our vote goes to Fly Direct who could run a big race at a price. The selection represents the yard that won this race in 2006 and made a pleasing debut here over 2 miles 3 earlier this month. That race was won by a stablemate but he really didn't shape too badly back in sixth in what looked to be a decent heat. This longer trip will suit and he could slip under the radar. Richard's Sundance ran as well as can be expected behind Big Fella Thanks last time and should be able to pick up a small race somewhere along the line as should Mister Gloss who comes here on the back of a fair effort in a handicap. Their form is nothing out of the ordinary and Chase The Dawn could be a threat to all if building on the promise of his run in January but we'll give Fly Direct a chance.
