    Verdict

It's almost four years since Alvarado last won a race but he's been fourth in two Grand Nationals and placed in two Scottish Nationals in the interim period. However, he is best in the spring and this looks much too short. Dueling Banjos may be better over slightly shorter distance but he returns on a fair mark while Barry Geraghty rides recent Bangor winner Cernunnos for his retainer and he makes more appeal than stablemate Kilbree Kid. Bindon Mill run his best races here and won over course and distance at January, though is still 8lb higher. TALK OF THE SOUTH is still a maiden over fences but he is capable of going close in a race like from near the foot of the weights given he was placed three times last season off higher marks.
