In depth

Verdict

Just the three runners but a fascinating little heat, not least due to the riders involved. River Indus is an out-and-out stayer who returned to form in pleasing style last time and will surely set out out to try and run the finish out of his opponents. However, MARLEYBOW is a more than capable performer at his best and returned to action with an excellent effort last time hunting up the in-form Mauriska at Haydock. This looks a good opportunity to get back on the scoresheet. American World has shown little or nothing in recent months but this is his time of year and he can't be discounted.
