Verdict

All four have chances but SIR CLAD makes most appeal in receipt of weight from his rivals. He has looked a better horse the last twice and is worth chancing to confirm that impression with front-running tactics likely to be adopted once again. Rolanta did the job nicely last time but that was only in selling company whilst Motor Home has fallen a long way since showing plenty of juvenile ability for Andrew Balding. He still shows the odd glimmer of form, but the main danger to the selection is the lightly-raced Mac Beattie, who stayed on in quite taking fashion last time when the unfancied stable second string.
