Verdict

Witness Of Fashion was a very easy winner over 2m4f at Down Royal's Xmas meeting but is 9lb higher and was put in his place behind AUNT NORA over this trip at Thurles earlier. The winner was having only her fifth start over fences and with more to come can complete a double despite a 12lb rise. Teelin Star was having his first start for two years when runner-up to Ard Cregg at Thurles a couple of weeks ago and should have come on nicely for the run though his jumping has left plenty to be desired in the past. Unic De Bersy couldn't handle the step-up to Grade 2 company after an impressive debut over fences at Wexford while Love Rory's future is probably over cross country obstacles. The veteran Cootamundra is consistent at this sort of level and Ibetellingyoualie should appreciate stepping up in trip while Winter Magic arrives in winning form having scored over the trip at Punchestown.
