My Newbrook Rose scored over 2m4f here in November but couldn't stage a repeat at Punchestown from 7lb higher. GALYPSO CLERMONT looked ready to lose his maiden tag when staying on strongly over 2m4f here and duly obliged over this trip at Limerick. A 7lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up though Full Noise would be a major threat if able to repeat his run at Punchestown in May when catching the eye of the stewards after landing a gamble. Yaiza had City Limits a neck behind at Tramore in August last year but the latter has been in better form while Excelcior showed her first sign of ability since arriving from France when a close third over 2m4f at Navan a fortnight ago.
