Verdict

Corbetts Cross started favourite for the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham and was challenging when running out at the last. He didn't jump well on his chasing bow at Naas but is expected to come on markedly. He has a victory over timber on this track to his credit as has Three Card Brag, who finished a close fifth in the Albert Bartlett and makes his chasing debut. Monty's Star pulled up in that Cheltenham event but had won a Grade 3 novices' hurdle at Clonmel earlier. My Immortal, a winner between the flags, couldn't quite hold subsequent Grade 3 winner Shewearsitwell in a handicap over timber at Punchestown but looks the type to do well over fences. Willie Mullins has two entries and Aime Desjy's pedigree is all about jumping fences but NICK ROCKETT, a winner between the flags, won a Grade 2 novices' hurdle by 15 lengths here in April and looks an exciting chasing prospect. Good Time Jonny won the Pertemps at Cheltenham and has had a couple of runs over fences though shown little.
