Verdict

Answer To Kayf gained a surprise victory at Limerick and faces better rivals here. Any Road takes a step up in trip having been left clear at the last over 2m at Clonmel though he probably would have won anyway. Redstone had every chance when falling at the last on his debut between the flags and landed a 2m maiden hurdle here with a bit in hand but RELEASE THE BEAST (NAP) is very highly regarded and started a short-priced favourite for a moderate Galway maiden which he won with ease. This is much tougher but he looks the one to beat, though it's difficult to rule anything out in an interesting race as Waterford Whispers also scored at Galway in October when he had a ton in hand.
