Verdict

It's difficult to find one without a chance in this. Mallards In Flight benefited from a superb Paul Carberry ride to score at Clonmel on Thursday and a 4lb penalty shouldn't prevent the combination from going close. But Gavin Cromwell's charge was five lengths behind Do Be Doin' at Leopardstown in February and the latter would have a real chance on that form, though blotted his copybook with a poor display behind Ibetellingyoualie at Navan last month. The winner is up 8lb for that victory but had been 10 lengths behind COOLAGHKNOCK GLEBE at Clonmel earlier so the latter is taken to gain compensation for a fall when attempting a follow-up on the same track. Its The Ice I Like is running very well though he's gone up in the weights without winning.
