Verdict
Halsafari has won once in 23 starts over fences and seems best over shorter than this and on testing ground. Shantou Lucky was conceding Yabo 7lb when beating him narrowly at Clonmel in March though that was over the minimum. The latter is much better over this trip but still has plenty to find. Arctic Ambition looked one to follow when scoring at Thurles but was impeded and fell when long odds-on at Tramore. That could have affected his confidence as he jumped poorly at Leopardstown in December. Soloman Lane has gradually been improving though his Punchestown victory came on heavy ground. Bay Ambition has been running in slightly better company and his stable can do little wrong but in the hope she stays on her feet SHES SOME DOLL (NAP) looks the one to beat. She's been there with every chance when falling at Naas and Tramore after scoring at Roscommon and compensation awaits.
