Verdict

Older horses have the best record in recent years so David O'Meara's Lincoln Rocks, a Listed winner last summer, should go well in her bid for a first Group victory. However, the younger brigade should have the edge and COULD IT BE LOVE looks the best option. A surprise runner-up in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, she showed that was no fluke when an excellent third in the Jersey Stakes and that sort of form would be good enough for this. Lightening Quick wasn't too far behind the selection in the fillies' classic after earlier beating Xenobia in a Naas Group 3 and she has more to offer.
