In depth

Verdict

Not the easiest of starts and several of the main contenders have been showing their best form over further. They include Jeunopse, runner-up at Listowel over 2m4f on very testing ground last month, and Meitheamh, a good third over that trip at Navan last time. The latter occupied the same spot behind Shadow Eile over this distance at Listowel and has a bit to find with Coral Creek on a line through the winner. Chase The Favorite should do better back over the minimum after failing to last out over 2m4f on heavy ground at Ballinrobe but LECEILE could be the one to be on as, though she had no chance against the impressive Steps To Freedom over this C&D last time, she is unlikely to come up against one as good this time.
