The best race on tonight’s card and several look to have solid claims. Improving maiden Buttermere could figure if she gets a run from her reserve spot. Arbourfield has won three times at Dundalk this year, beating Rosenborg Rider last time, though he was behind Burn The Boats in a claimer before that. Blairmayne has won both previous starts here and Natalia Lupini’s gelding is a model of consistency so he goes on the short-list along with last year’s winner The Eyes Have It, who is only 2lb higher. Dasheen has won at Tipperary and Gowran this year, though the drying ground could be a problem. FOUNTAIN looked a sure-fire future winner when second to Katiymann at Leopardstown - he’ll strip fitter here and is still improving. Pari Passu is also worth a second look but Shore Step has disappointed since joining Johnny Murtagh.
