Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Castafiore Park was beaten a long way when runner-up in a Limerick bumper though had run better over hurdles previously. Love N' Peace was behind in that former event though has since run well enough at Cork to get involved here. Flamingo's Court has been running over hurdles and changed stables but OWENACURRA LASS showed massive progress to finish runner-up here last month and normal improvement will see her in the firing-line so she gets the vote. There are several newcomers to note including Gordon Elliott's pair Creaden Belle and Titangle, the latter a half-sister to Tombstone, while Mags Mullins' Agusta Gold is the second foal of a mare who produced a winning hurdler with her first.
