In depth

Verdict

Kid Curry landed a maiden hurdle at Down Royal last month and should do well over the bigger obstacles while Mr Nosie, a Grade 1 winner over timber way back in 2006, was having only his third start in five years when falling at the first at Thurles on his third run over fences. He can do better while another chasing debutant, Elcanos, won a handicap over hurdles here in January. BALLYMAK, a very progressive bumper and hurdles winner, has started a short-priced favourite in each of his three starts over fences and owes his supporters plenty but this should be his day provided his jumping holds together.
