Authorizo, a winner on the Flat at Cagnes in February, will know his job on his debut for Gordon Elliott and this doesn't look the toughest of heats. He's owned by Gigginstown, who also have FAUGUERNON entered here. A triple winner on the level in France including in Listed company, he's by leading NH sire Martaline so should do even better over jumps. Bronson In Blue will have come on markedly for last week's run at Punchestown though may need more experience so a bigger threat should come from Raya Time. Henry De Bromhead's bumper winner was always in the front rank at Leopardstown and only faded on the run-in so it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts. Dermot Weld doesn't have many hurdlers so the presence of Dalton Highway is interesting.
