Verdict
Winning bumper John Cannon finished runner-up in a big field on his hurdling debut at Punchestown in May and started odds-on for his reappearance at Thurles last month. He couldn't get past Pinkerton that day but the winner ran well against much stronger opposition next time. VINNIE IS BUSY made a winning debut in a Limerick bumper just over two years ago. He hasn't been seen since placed at Downpatrick in March 2020 but obviously goes well fresh and his trainer knows how to place one so he's handed the vote. Peaceful Sunday reverted to a bumper here last month, his first start since runner-up at Hexham in June, so he'll be ready for this.
