Verdict

BELLANEY LORD hasn't been seen since just beaten at Limerick last May with a subsequent winner a long way back in third. Kansas City Star was left well clear at Loughrea in October when the narrow leader fell at the last. He's joined Gordon Elliott and is an obvious threat to all. What Path has a stayer's pedigree but will be tuned up for this while winning point-to-pointer Desertmore House didn't get going until much too late on his bumper debut at Naas.
