Verdict

Farout won just once in seven starts on the Flat in France but has an entry in the Triumph and wouldn't have been thrust into Grade 3 company for his debut unless well regarded. His stable also run another Triumph entry in Tax For Max. Paul Townend has chosen him, a winner on the level in Germany and a €200,000 purchase at the sales. Scholastic comfortably landed a Punchestown maiden but hardly picked her feet up when pulled up after the second in a Listed race at Aintree in December. She's since won at Dundalk while Crassus has also finished second there since landing a Limerick maiden hurdle then almost making all in a handicap over this track and trip. TEAHUPOO made a winning debut at Auteuil in October and was making a real race of it with the long odds-on Youmdor when that one fell at the last over the track and trip last month, leaving him clear. The third has won easily since and Gordon Elliott's charge can remain unbeaten.
