    Verdict

SUPERCONTANGO overcame an outside draw to win over today’s trip at Lingfield. Life should be easier in this smaller field despite carrying a penalty and she’s preferred to Campachoochoo. The latter made a winning debut over track and trip last summer though never threatened at Southwell on her return to action. Outcast drops down in trip on her reappearance having raced over 6f at Newbury last year while the more exposed Professor Galant has plenty to find on these terms.
