In depth

Verdict

Pillar has been producing the goods at Dundalk as usual but he's won on soft ground around here. Drish Hero gained a shock victory at Dundalk and Colin Keane has been booked so a 6lb rise doesn't look insurmountable. Pretty Smart, who finished a close fourth, has gained both Turf victories on soft ground and can make her presence felt here. ADAMS BARBOUR had been in fine form at Dundalk before just touched off on ground with some give at Sligo and regular pilot Chris Hayes can steer him to another success. Born Invincible was well beaten in that Sligo event but ran much better when dropped to 6f at Navan.
