With four of these winners last time out, this looks, on paper, a hot little contest, but Water Sports showed vastly improved form last time and gets the vote even though this trip could well prove on the sharp side for her. Whether it was the trip at Uttoxeter, or the fast ground, which she was tackling for the first time over hurdles responsible for the improvement, one cannot be sure, but she looks sure to get a sound pace around here and is certainly at the right end of the handicap to take advantage. Circle Of Wolves has never looked that enthusiastic, but finally got his act together when winning a weak contest at Plumpton last week. He has gone well here in the past and with no penalty for that win has to be respected. Dr Charlie bounced back to form at Hereford last month and off just a 5lbs higher mark, has to be of interest, while Who Cares Wins has been done no favours by the raising of the weights, but his trainer John Jenkins has his team in good order and he looks sure to play his part. However, Water Sports appears to be on the upgrade and is given the nod in an open contest.
