In depth
Verdict
John Spearing has his team in fine form having saddled five winners under both codes in the last fortnight and Forzacurity, one of those winners looks to have a fine chance of following up his recent Newton Abbot success. Having only had the three outings to date over timber there is every reason to believe the four-year-old still has plenty of improvement in him. Irish import Coq De Mirande doesn't face a difficult task on his British debut and it will be interesting to see if there is any market support for him, while the likes of Bachelors Pad and Magical Day are both regulars at this level and fully exposed even the latter, although only four, has had plenty of chances and remains difficult to win with. The main threat may come from the locally trained Saafend Rocket, who has his first outing for Henry Daly, but Forzacurity looks to be going the right way and is given the vote in a dire contest.
