      Verdict

      Pop Gun, a useful performer on the level for Barry Hills, hasn't exactly looked a natural over hurdles and even though he is open to improvement we prefer the credentials of Sunny Native, who showed more than enough in Ireland to suggest she has a small race in her. This contest fits that description and she can take care of the likes of Pop Gun, who should be well suited by this sort of trip having won on the flat at up to 14-furlongs. However, he didn't always look the easiest of rides on the and he may be one to treat with caution. Lancashire Lass has been well beaten in sellers (including when blinkered) and might not be good enough, while Aliabad has had plenty of chances in worse contests than this and, at the age of eight, it is hard to see him losing his maiden tag. Indian Beat has also failed to score in selling company and looks to have something to find, even at this lowly level. Penalta was of limited ability on the flat, but he does stay well and if there is to be an upset, he could provide it. But Sunny Native's form over timber is better than her rivals and she is taken to get of the mark.
