    Verdict

    A dire contest, in which Sharp Steel looks to have outstanding claims. Sue Wilton's charge has at least won over fences, unlike his rivals, but while he is clearly of limited ability, he should be good enough here. Granted a clear round, Occam looks booked for the runner-up spot, However, he hasn't exactly looked a natural over fences, but with Lypharita's Risk only completing twice in his last five outings over fences, Occam looks the safer option to chase Sharp Steel home. Albeit at a respectable distance.
