      Verdict

DESERT JOE only found one too good on his hurdling debut at Towcester and a subsequent third at Newbury was another sound effort. Alan King's charge can make it third-time lucky here though Legendary Hop and Terra Bleu are consistent and Floreat clearly found 2m too sharp at Towcester last time. Domos Boy, blinkered for the first time, was third over a similar trip at Hereford last time and also enters the reckoning and Bobcatbilly may have needed his run in a Kempton bumper last week. Earlier runs at Towcester and Ascot entitle him to respect in this grade.
