    Verdict

Conor Dore's Satindra has been running consistently well of late and should be thereabouts again having been dropped 1lb since his last three starts but a better bet looks to be MY CONDOR, who gets the vote over Great Tsar. The last mentioned makes his debut for Tim Vaughan today and has to be respected given the trainer's record with other handler's former horses. His jockey is also able to claim a valuable 3lbs as he is riding for his own yard and the five-year-old makes more appeal than Michael Chapman's Peak Seasons, who has been well held in recent starts. Secret Cavern was not beaten far by Red Jester at Warwick last time and he has to be considered but seems too high in the weights at the moment and preference is for My Condor. Don McCain's gelding has shown improved form of late and with Brian Toomey able to claim an additional 3lbs because he is riding for his own yard, he looks the one to beat.
