Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and the principals look to be Spring Lover, Walcot Lad, Giorgio and Sir Toby and the vote is given to Walcot Lad. The selection was a fair third behind MissWizadora last time and with this slightly longer trip sure to suit and running off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Spring Lover rates the main danger he won well last time out when beating Saucy Knight but as a consequence he has shot up the weights and he may now be in the handicappers grip so he is over looked. Giorgio is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Cool Monty but his best form is on slightly faster ground and at likely odds he looks worth opposing . Of the remainder Sir Toby would have a chance on his third behind Harik but his best form is over a shorter trip and for the winner we return to Walcot Lad.
