Verdict

Laterly may take some stopping if in the same mood as when making all in a novices' handicap at Huntingdon. But Steve Gollings' trail-blazer beat little of note that day and has been raised a massive 11lb since. King Brex carries a 7lb penalty for his win in an amateurs' race at Sandown last week, while Buddy Holly's best efforts over hurdles so far has been with plenty of give in the ground. Trumpstoo wouldn't be a lost cause if rediscovering a bit of form and Dark Ranger still has some scope but FUJIN DANCER is taken to follow up his Catterick win. The six-year-old has struck up an immediate rapport with trainer's daughter Helen Bethell and the partnership were also unlucky not to score at Market Rasen in January. His turn of foot could be decisive in this off the likely strong pace.
