In depth

Verdict

Young Phoenix is not at all badly treated on last season’s form and probably needed last month’s run at Southwell. Todd has placed twice over 2m4f here recently and won at Worcester in September but has only raced over this longer trip once before and pulled up. MASTER OF FINANCE was just behind here in October but has the best of the weights today. The trip is an unknown but Maxime Tissier takes off a handy 5lb and rides this course as well as anyone. Saucysioux is a course and distance winner and is preferred to Little Millie of the others.
