      Verdict

      Paddy's Poem ended last season with a victory at Huntingdon and is 4lb higher on his reappearance but MASTER VINTAGE (NAP) is the one to beat. He’s got his act together over fences now having won at Market Rasen before scoring even more convincingly at Huntingdon a week ago and Richard Phillips’ charge is taken to defy a penalty. Cesar Du Gouet has a shout with a conditional’s allowance in his favour having won off today’s mark back in May but the remaining pair will need to step up on recent efforts to figure.
