Verdict

Dinsdale wasn’t beaten far at Newcastle but Al Kherb only won a seller at Stratford in October. Leicester runner-up Peckinpah shouldn’t be far away and Vocal Duke has been quite highly tried since successful here in the autumn. Astroman placed in a couple of Huntingdon maidens in the spring and had a pipe-opener on the all-weather last month but handicap debutant RHEBUS ROAD, twice a winner on the Flat this year, should be up to winning a race like this off a mark 108 with cheekpieces on for the first time. Gavin was well beaten at Uttoxeter on Friday.
