Verdict

Amok has run a couple of decent fourths over timber since joining Tim Vaughan from the Jean-Claude Rouget yard but does look to have enough to do off topweight, although he obviously remains open to progress. Stentorian has definite claims at his best and showed himself in good heart last time when a close second to Key To Milan at Taunton. He seemed to enjoy himself that day so ought to handle this sharp track. However, Pam Sly has been generating steady improvement from ARKAIM, highlighted by a narrow defeat at the hands of Feeling at Stratford last month, prior to which he'd gone well when a close third at Towcester behind Jawhary. He receives 8lb from Stentorian, not taking into account the claim of the useful Gina Andrews, and that could well prove decisive around this speed track.
