We end the card with another poor hurdle race and will take a chance on Resplendent Star, with Wiscalitus and Lahob put forward as the likely dangers.Lucy Wadham's seven-year-old finished second over a longer trip here back in May, when easily moving the best at the second last.The drop in trip today could be ideal and he should be able to beat this modest bunch. Wiscalitus has at least managed to win a race, beating Salinas at Market Rasen back in August. He ran well enough next time behind Flame Phoenix, but was then slaughtered at Chepstow, he has it all to prove now under his penalty. Lahob has been well beaten in banded races on the all-weather, but comes from a shrewd yard so any market move should be noted. Charlies Double ran well in a bumper last season and could prove best of the remainder, however we think the drop in trip should suit Resplendent Star who is a tentative selection
