In depth
Verdict
The three to keep an eye on in this opener are Best Game, Take A Mile and Knock Bridge with the vote going to the last named. David Evans has his team in good order at present and Knock Bridge proved that by finishing second to Bayard over course and distance last month. She had plenty of pace on the flat and this track suits her style of racing being a flat non-staying track and if able to reproduce her debut performance she will take some beating. Best Game improved from his debut run to finish a creditable third at Musselburgh last time out so further improvement is on the cards. The same can be said for Take A Mile who improved on his debut run when finishing an eye catching second at Warwick on his latest start and if improving again will be in the shake up. But for the winner we return to Knock Bridge.
