In depth

Verdict

Dover's Hill may be approaching the veteran stage now but is still capable of running well in this as the tight track will suit this habitual front-runner. Current Event won over 2m5f at Perth in the summer but stamina may be a problem here. FORGOTTEN GOLD stays 3m and will be thereabouts if fully wound-up as, though his jumping was a little erratic last season, he easily beat recent Exeter winner Dawn Commander at Aintree a year ago and still has plenty of scope. Wiesentraum never got anywhere near the leaders in a Listed chase at Market Rasen last month but had won well at Southwell before that. There is probably more to come from Lucy Wadham's charge and none of the others can be left out of calculations if back on song, including Perth third Aneyeforaneye.
