Verdict

LOCAL AFFAIR is fitted with headgear for the first time and won’t have to improve much on recent efforts to get her head in front. Charlie Longsdon’s filly is the only one with hurdling experience and finished behind Brambledown, due to run in the previous race, when fourth at Plumpton last time. Midnights' Gift is a maiden winner on the Flat and the half-sister to winners over hurdles looks capable of getting involved while Break The Rules and Whistler Bowl are superior on the Flat to the remainder.
