Kapricorne is on a long losing run but is back on a winning mark though, along with Filatore, he finished behind L Frank Baum at Hereford last month. Steel Native can race off the same mark as when only beaten a short-head over 2m4f here last time so must be thereabouts as he finished ahead of another maiden, Get In Pat, that day. FILLE DES CHAMPS was successful on heavy ground here in November and ran with credit off her new mark over 3m at Ludlow a month later. This intermediate distance should prove ideal and she appears to have got her act together now.
