      Verdict

      Ascendant and Awaywiththegreys have stronger overall form but BALLYROCK is the one in good nick, having obliged with any amount in hand in a Fakenham seller in mid-April and will be hard to beat if repeating that level. Ascendant will prove a tough nut to crack if able to transfer the nature of a really good second in an all-weather staying handicap last month to timber. Awaywiththegreys drops significantly in trip and cannot be ruled out as he's been operating at a much higher level. Neither Ballycash nor the returning Gun Shy can be ruled out in what is a really tricky heat for the grade.
