In depth

Verdict

Cheat The Cheater didn't run badly behind stablemate The Bear Trap over 2m4f here last time and he makes more appeal than Rebecca Curtis' other runner Sandanski. Titchwood is surely better than he showed on his hurdling debut at Warwick but NUTIN FANCY was only beaten a head by Alberobello over this trip on heavy ground at Chepstow in his first run for more than a year. Any improvement on that should see him in the winner's enclosure today. Ugly Bug was second at Hereford on his hurdling debut and is also open to improvement while a market move for either of the Pipe pair, Bamboleo and Bygones Sovereign, should be noted.
