In depth
Verdict
Darbandikhan was beaten a short-head over the track and trip in a similar low-grade maiden last March and has also occupied the same spot twice at Jebel Ali. He could still have some improvement in him and should go well under Jimmy Quinn. Hazaz has been a disappointment since arriving from the UK and will need to do better. Journalistic was well beaten on Turf last time and has done better on this surface while Line Of Sight has a poor draw to overcome. Shuja showed a bit of promise for Godolphin last summer but now races in different colours. BRAVO RAGAZZO was a well-backed favourite on both starts in very testing ground for Mark Johnston late last summer and, with his pedigree suggesting he'll be suited by the surface, he's handed the vote in a tricky opener. Price Is Truth has potential, unlike most of his rivals, while Tajamal was market leader on his debut at Kempton in September but showed little after missing the break.
