Verdict

There are doubts about most of these with KINARI (NAP) the notable exception on recent evidence. Peter Bowen enjoys plenty of winners at this venue and his Captain Rio gelding saw it out well to earn a first career success here last month. This step-up in trip seems fine and he is taken to defy his penalty as he looks highly likely to make a better chaser than hurdler. Tim Vaughan will be hoping that fences engender some improvement from Show's Over whilst Kerry Lee steps Definite Future up in trip as her charge returns to the larger obstacles over which he has yet to impress. Red Penny has no stamina concerns and her winning point-to-point experience could see her emerge as the main threat to the selection as the Frosts tackle the Bowens.
