In depth

Verdict

BROCKLEY RISE did much better on his nursery debut at Lingfield. He’ll stay this longer trip on that evidence and looks the one to beat in a modest handicap. Rio Santos is eased in grade and has been given a plater’s mark. It would be no surprise to see Rod Millman’s colt get involved as his dam was placed over 7f. Sixties Secret might be improving and Lady Alavesa was second on soft going at Leicester in May so may enjoy conditions better than most.
