      Verdict

      BONJOUR STEVE is only 3lb higher than when scoring over 5f here a year ago. He’s effective over this extra furlong and on soft going so may be capable of picking up the winning thread again with Mitch Godwin’s claim also a plus. Kinglami has already won three times this year but has picked up a penalty for a narrow recent win at Chepstow. Fredricka has been knocking on the door this season while Alaadel remains unexposed and The Daley Express won well over track and trip last month, though is another carrying a penalty in a higher grade.
