Verdict

San Seb looked to be coming to hand when third at Wincanton and has been dropped 2lb since. Caswell Bay fished third here in November but that was over an extended 2m5f and he may find this too short. THOR DE CERISY has only run in two handicaps so far and placed in both. He’s had wind surgery since his reappearance at Wetherby last month and won his bumper around here so can get back to winning ways. Howling Milan was quite well regarded as a novice but it’s almost two years since he recorded his one and only victory. Mere Anarchy has been knocking on the door but is 1-22 over hurdles and upped in grade again today.
