Verdict

Course regular Grimsthorpe Castle looks high enough in the weights now and CONTINGENCY FEE makes more appeal. The latter was having only his second outing since March when a close-up fourth here last week and finishing ahead of last year’s winner Cold Harbour and has won twice over course and distance in the past. Lord Of The Alps debuts on the Fibresand on the back of winning an apprentices’ race at Wolverhampton and escapes a penalty while the maiden Artistic Language has been hurdling and debuts on the all-weather and Ezanak remains out of sorts.
