      Verdict

      SAMOVAR looks back to his best and can take advantage of today’s drop in class. He went close in Class 4 company last week and a 5lb penalty for an earlier victory here is negated by an apprentice’s allowance. Excessable ran well again last time having beaten the selection when winning over track and trip before that while Dirchill finished in front of Pearl Of Qatar when third here last month and is also preferred to Puchita and the returning Ginger Max.
