Verdict

CUTHBERT DIBBLE was backed into favouritism to land a Sandown premier handicap last month and was far from disgraced in coming home a respectable fifth of 16 behind Crambo. He sets the form standard and this return to calmer waters makes him the one to beat. Most likely to spoil the party is The Same, a convincing winner on Rules debut for the in-form Olly Murphy at Market Rasen. He looks a promising recruit and this should provide a clearer view of his ability at present. Storminhome is becoming a consistent performer for Ben Pauling and can get involved if handling his first taste of heavy ground.
